
ROCKLIN, California -- Andrew Lewis, driver of the #18 Cure Autism Now Chevrolet is leading in the race for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year title and ninth in the overall chase for the NASCAR Grand National West Series championship points. Lewis will once again be running for the front to increase his take of the purse at this weekend’s race at Stockton 99 Speedway as he continues his efforts to raise awareness and funds for autism research.
“Autism is something that estimates show affects 1.5 million Americans,” said Lewis. “If we can raise not only awareness of the problem but contribute to the cure, that’s what I want to do.”
The #18 Cure Autism Now team with driver Andrew Lewis will be racing at the Stockton 99 Speedway on Saturday, April 30th. Gates open at 11 am, qualifying at 5:35 pm with the NASCAR West Series racing to run at 8:45 pm PST.
