Greg Scott won the 12th running of the Super Figure 8's "Ed Ritchie Memorial 60 Minutes of FEAR"

In this, the 40th year for the Figure Eight racers at Evergreen Speedway, F.E.A.R. (figure eight auto racing) presented an excellent field of 28 racers. This race is 60 minutes of non-stop action with 20 race cars on the track at all times.

At the checkered flag, they had completed 140 laps which means they had slashed through the world's most dangerous intersection 280 times. WOW!

Evergreen Speedway Super Stocks

The Speedway Chevrolet NASCAR Super Stocks ran in dry weather on the 3/8's oval and produced it's third different winner in as many races. Gaylon Stewart started on the pole and led until lap 7 when John Zaretzke took command of the 50 lap feature. Stewart who commented on how he waits to scrub his tires in until the actual race starts, reeled in Zaretzke and made a pass on the Defending Champion the "old fashioned" way, around the outside.

Naima Lang, driving the Ron Fritzley car for the second week in a row, shadowed Stewart as he chased Zaretzke. Stewart credited both the Lang and Jason Fraser teams as strong competition and contending up and comers.

Evergreen Speedway Les Schwab Tires NASCAR Bombers

Jill Lang started on the pole of the A Main, after winning the Gem Star Homes Dash for Cash. Craig Rowalt took the lead from Merlin Cook on lap 12 and continued on for his first Main event win of the 2005 racing season.

Kenny Paine took the honors in the Les Schwab Tires NASCAR Bomber B Main. After getting his car "sorted out" he will return to hopefully qualify into the A Main next week.
