SALT LAKE CITY, Utah --Craig Racing has now created a driver development program specifically designed to recruit drivers to compete in each series of NASCAR from the Late Model Series to the Nextel Cup.
Rick Craig, CEO of Craig Racing, has been behind the wheel for the past year racing in the Grand National West Series. After much thought, he decided to form a driver development program that will allow Craig Racing to compete in each level of the NASCAR series. “The purpose of the Driver Development Program is to find, groom, and produce drivers for Craig Racing,” says Craig. “The goal is to become a more aggressive team by filling every series with a competitive driver from the Late Model Series to Nextel.”
The newest addition to the program is 30 year old Brad Ostler of Pleasant Grove, Utah. Brad began working with late models and eventually served six years as crew chief for a two-time championship Utah/Idaho team. He will be racing in the Late Model series for Craig Racing. Rick Craig is currently racing in the Grand National West Series.
