NORCO, California -- Robert Kroeker aligns with ASA Speed Truck Challenge and numerous local sponsors with the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation to generate awareness for cancer research through national television on the Outdoor Channel.
After taking the first part of the 2005 season off to spend time with family, Top 5 finisher last season in the ASA Speed Truck Challenge has decided to race at the Orange Show Speedway to help support the growing need for finding a cure for cancer. Robert finished the 2004 season 4th in overall points and was the 2003 “Rookie of the Year.”
The ASA Speed Truck Challenge race on July 2nd at Orange Show Speedway will be named The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation 100 and we can’t thank Jay Rutherford, the Speed Truck Challenge President enough for this. Jay is also adding an on board camera to the #58 Robert Kroeker Speed Truck to further enhance the exposure and awareness for this needed cause to a national television audience.
Many local sponsors have aligned with this cause to allow all funds raised to go directly to Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation whose mission is to support finding a cause for cancer in children. Local supporters include; ASA Speed Truck Challenge, Roaming Signs, K&N Customs, Direct Design Marketing, Luke's Transmissions, Wahoo's Fish Tacos, Hoosier Tires, Cornwell Quality Tools and other great, caring supporters.
In addition, Cornwell Quality Tools has donated a $3,000 tool box for an opportunity drawing. Tickets will be sold for $10.00 prior and at the Orange Show Speedway event on July 2nd. The winner will be drawn at the end of the race. To purchase tickets now contact Robert Kroeker at 951-377-0723.
The alignment with both ASA Speed Truck Challenge and Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation comes from the heart. Robert has been touched personally by cancer in his family and wants to raise levels of awareness for this devastating disease. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.
"Without the support of these local companies we would not have been able to make this happen. Finding a cure for cancer is important. So many have been touched directly or indirectly by cancer. We must focus on finding a cure and it starts with our children first and foremost. Aligning with these organizations allows us to focus on finding a cure for children."
