Travis Bennett won the Bud Pole Award in the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Northwest Series for the AutoZone 125 presented by Oso Lumber at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Wash.
Bennett, of Ellensburg, Wash., got around the .646-mile oval in 22.702 seconds that translates to a lap speed of 102.440 mph. He, then, drew a 10 in the series mandated six, eight or 10-car invert to start the race.
It is Bennett’s first Bud Pole of the season and the first of his Northwest Series career.
The green flag is expected to wave for the main event at approximately 8:30 p.m. PDT.
