MONROE, WashingtonStoney Creek Outfitters on Saturday night July 23 presents Western Truck Night at Evergreen Speedway. The Speedway will host for the first time in its storied 51-year history the ARCA West Lincoln Welders Truck Series and ARCA West Late Model Lites. Included in the history making night of racing will be an attempt at a world’s record wheelie by a Monster Truck, a Truck Demolition Derby, Northwest Legends, Stinger 8’s, Super and Extreme Contact figure Eights.
The Merced, CA based ARCA West 4-cylinder series travels to Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and California’s best tracks during the 2005 season. This historic night for the track and series will be a double point’s event. Steve Thompson of Richland, WA is one of the Lite Late Model and Truck Series top drivers. Thompson was the Late Model Champion at Tri-City Raceway in 2003. Other drivers to watch will be Jeff Raver, Gene and Mike Kaufman in the Lites. In the Trucks Barry Conoyer and Scott Dannen are in a heated battle for the championship.
Front Gates open at 4:00pm and the 8-event action gets underway at 7:00pm. Adults $15.50, Jr/Sr & Military $9.50, Children (6-11) $4.50, Under 6 Free and a Family Pass for 2-Adults and up to 4-Children is $40.00.
