TUCSON, Arizona -- U.S. Army Night at Tucson Raceway Park saw Chad Bowden claim his fifth win in the Super Late Model division. Bowden staved off Brice Bonnett who finished second, Ron Norman held on for third. P.J. Megna claimed the $500 first place prize in the Grand American Modifieds. John Foley, in his first race in two years, came home second. Carl Thomae ended up in third. Mighty Compacts ran for 40 laps and Mike Vaughan captured the victory. Becky Harrington finished her best of the season in second. Rookie, Robert VonColln rounded out the top three. INEX Legends saw Matt Williams score another victory in the 20 lap main event. Terry Lipscomb took home second and Suave Brachowski finished third. INEX Bandolero action had Houston Franco score his third feature event win with Blake Leuth muscling his way to second and Romano Cionni taking third. Ruben Federico took his Tuff Trux to the winner’s podium with John Callans in second and Roy Tripoloni finishing third. Motorsports Mania TV was on hand filming the event. Look for the TRP show on Saturday, September 10th at 8:30 a.m. on Fox Sports Net.

Next week at Tucson Raceway Park Reproductions, Inc. presents the Super Late Models, NASCAR Late Models, Factory Stocks, Legends, Bandoleros and Auto Soccer. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with racing beginning at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for juniors, seniors and military with kids 11 & under always FREE!
