SARAH FISHER SET TO RACE IN OREGON

ANTELOPE, California -- NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series driver Sarah Fisher will be making her first appearance on an Oregon race track when she take the green at Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg on September 17th for the NAPA 200 presented by NAPA Belts & Hose. She will be driving the #20 NASCAR Select by NAPA Filters/Domino’s/Office Depot Chevrolet for Bill McAnally Racing. This will be the third appearance of the #20 BMR team at the Douglas County Speedway. Previous drivers of the #20 BMR entry have been veteran driver Jim Inglebright who finished 4th in 2003 and RCR driver Kerry Earnhardt who brought home a 7th place finish last year. Fisher is looking for a strong finish at the NAPA 200. She currently is 12th in the series championship point race and third in the chase for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year title.

The race weekend will be kicked off with the 4th annual Hauler Parade on Friday, September 16th. The parade will begin at 1:00 pm from the Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Truck Stop and be in route north on the I-5 for the 27 miles to Roseburg. The parade with then continue through the town of Roseburg and end at the Douglas County Speedway. Following the parade, there will be a driver autograph session. Many of your favorite NASCAR Grand National West Series drivers will be available from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm.

The NAPA 200 presented by NAPA Belts & Hose will take place on Saturday, September 17th at the historic Douglas County Speedway. Gates will open at 12 NOON. Tickets are available at you local Oregon NAPA AUTO PARTS stores or at the gate. This race will be broadcast on October 21st on SPEED Channel. Check your local listings.
