SCOTT LYNCH AND THE LYNCH MOB MOTORSPORTS CREW LOOK TO ADD TO THEIR STING OF TOP FIVE FINISHES

ROSEBURG, Oregon -- Looking to add to their string of top five finishes in the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series, Scott Lynch and the Lynch Mob Motorsports crew are busy making sure that their 08 Mr. Gas Dodge is in tiptop shape for running of the NAPA 200, Sept. 17 at Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg, Ore.

"Douglas County Speedway has been pretty good to us in the past," says Lynch. "In fact, we took the win here last season and a third the year before. "I must admit I wouldn't have given us any odds to take the victory last time out. It really was pure luck, but I'm hoping that we have the same success this time around."

With nine races out of 12 completed, Lynch is leading the field with a margin of 48 points. "In order to bring home the title, we definitely need to be a consistent front runner and be right up there at the end of each remaining race," says the Burley, Idaho native. "This is a pretty tight field this year and so far each of the top three have taken home two wins apiece. If we could get a third win this weekend, it would certainly help further our cause."

One of the top racers on the NASCAR West circuit, Lynch enjoys competing at Douglas County Speedway. "It is great facility and showcases a full evening of some of the best action found on the West Coast. The key at this track is chassis set-up and my crew chief Junebug is well versed in what is needed. We are going to shake down the car just before we leave and will be ready to go when practice gets underway on Saturday. Hopefully, we will be able to score a good starting spot and be able to get to the front in short order and stay there for all 200 Laps (100 miles).

A one-day event, teams will practice Saturday morning., Qualify at 3:15 PM (PT) with race action getting underway at 8:30 PM (PT). An enhanced replay will be run on SPEED TV, October 21 at 5:30 PM (ET).####
