LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Spencer Clark showcased his talent for the second-consecutive week with the win in the 50-lap Super Late Model feature at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday night for the final 2005 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series race. In addition, Clark was victorious in the 25-lap Delta Gunite Master/Pro Legends Cars race.

Clark proved to be untouchable one week ago in the 24-car field in the 50-lap Super Late Model race and continued to exhibit his mastery in the 22-car Super Late Model field this week.

The 18-year-old qualified third and started second after a four-car invert. Clark once again maneuvered his way past the pole setter to lead the pack for the entire race and earn his eighth win this season.

“It was a great weekend. We came off of a win the weekend before and carried that momentum into tonight. It paid off,” said Clark. “I’m so thankful for all the help from my crew this season. I’m especially thankful for Dick Cobb allowing me to drive his car.”

In the 25-lap Delta Gunite Master/Pro Legends Cars race, Clark started 11th in the 15-car field. Clark was able to battle his way to the front and take the checkered flag for the third time this year in three starts.

“I enjoy racing in the Legends Cars division,” said Clark. ”It was a great, fun race.”

Clark finished third in the Super Late Model track point standings after missing one race to compete in the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series at Pikes Peak International Raceway.

The 2003 Super Late Model Rookie-of-the-Year ended his season with eight wins, eight top-five finishes and was the fastest qualifier 11 times in 18 starts this season.####
