AJ ALSUP WINS LA STREET RACE

The LA Street race was one my AJ Alsup in his No. 19 Monte Carlo. Craig Raudman drove his Advantage Memory Victory Circle across the line second followed by Eric Holmes.

Nearly ninety percent of the cars sustained some type of damage. A couple local drivers, Ron Hornaday and Kevin Harvick mechanical problems. Ken Schrader was involved in a crash. He left directly from the LA Street Race to run in the NASCAR Winston West Race at Rocky Mountain Raceway.

Of the drivers running the NASCAR Southwest Series full time, Bob Lyon was the highest finisher, coming in 7th after starting 18th.
