ANDERSON, California -- This weekend Shasta Raceway Park hosts one of its big year ending events, as the Annual Win River 100 for Super Late Models, Modifieds and Late Models returns to the fast 3/8's mile paved oval located at the fairgrounds in Anderson. The Win River event in past years has been a 150 lap race, with the desicion made this year by SRP and Win River Casino the race was shortened to 100 laps with the hope of attracting more cars and to cut the cost inabling more drivers to compete. As of press time there are over 35 Super Late Models and 35 Modifieds pre-entered for this weekends race, and race officials expect that there will be over 40 cars in each class. The Late Model car count is expected to produce 25 cars for their race.
