HATCH DOMINATES ORANGE SHOW SPEEDWAY

Upland, Calif. 2003/2004 ASA Series Champion Lee Hatch, drove his No. 91 RJ Allen Inc./Go Fast Sports Dodge Speed Truck to victory at Orange Show Speedway Saturday night to accomplish his fourth win of the season.

The night started out with Hatch setting the fast time in qualifying with a new track record of 13.89. Hatch then went on to win the trophy dash. With a three-car inversion, Hatch started the 100-lap main in third position. Hatch took the lead on lap 82 and secured the victory with a five-truck lead.

“What a phenomenal night for the whole team,” Hatch said. “First of all I need to thank Andy Allen of R.J. Allen Construction for making this possible. After loosing our ride with Rich’s Motorsports due to the incident at Irwindale Speedway, Andy came forward offering me his truck for the last two races of the season. I want to thank Chris Hines who offered us a set-up geared to my driving style. Also, I have to thank Matt Daly of Go Fast for sticking with us consistently. I’m so happy tonight and appreciate everybody that believes in me and my driving abilities.”

“We knew this would be a long race with a fair share of yellows,” Hatch replied. “The game plan was to cruise in second position until we had 20 laps to go to save our equipment. Spencer Clark is a very talented driver and I knew he would be difficult to pass on this tight course. With 20 to go I started my attack for the lead. Unfortunately, Spencer got involved with a lapped truck resulting in a flat taking him out of the lead. We all have those races, but I’m glad tonight I was able to bring home the win and a new track record for my team and sponsors.”

Saturday’s race will be broadcasted on the Outdoor Channel on Saturday, November 26 at 8 p.m. PST.

The BHRM Motorsports team sponsored by RJ Allen Inc., Go Fast Sports, Speedway Transmissions and Wentzell Equipment Rental will travel to the Lucas Oil I-10 Speedway in Blythe, Calif. on Saturday, October 29th where the 2005 Series Championship will be decided.
