USAC superstar Michael Lewis will appear on Roush Racing: Driver X, a new racing reality show filmed this past summer, premiering tonight Monday, October 24 at 8 pm ET on Discovery Channel. Lewis was one of 25 drivers selected to compete for a full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ride for the 2006 season.
Here's what the Noblesville, Indiana native had to say about the show's debut:
"I'm expecting the ratings to be big. While everyone knows who is expected to land the Truck Series ride next year, it will be exciting for the fans and everyone else to see what really happened. I was very thankful to the entire Roush Racing organization for the opportunity to compete for such a prestige ride. I hope that I will once again be a part of the "Gong" show next year and have another shot of proving myself if I don't happen to land a stock car ride by then."
