DRIVERS FROM ACROSS THE NATION TO CONVERGE ON THE BULLRING FOR FALL CLASSIC

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be hosting some of the nation’s top weekly racers this weekend during the Fall Classic on Friday and Saturday.

Four racing divisions will compete in the two-day show at the 3/8-mile paved oval. The event will feature Super Late Models, Late Models, IMCA Modifieds and Bombers.

Drivers from California and Nevada will attempt to qualify for the 140-lap Super Late Model feature. In the past, NASCAR stars Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch and Brendan Gaughan have competed in this premier event at the Bullring. Early entries show that the 2005 Super Late Model Bullring track champion Mike Cofer and Rookie-of-the-Year Taylor Barton will compete. Thane Alderman will return to defend his championship title.

Drivers from California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina, Utah, and Canada will attempt to qualify for the 50-lap IMCA feature.

The Late Model Championship is 100 laps, while the Bombers will run 20 laps.

Qualifying for IMCA Modified, Super Late Model and Late Model divisions will take place Friday. Also on the schedule are Super Late Model C-Feature, Late Model B-Feature and Bomber Preliminary Features one and two.

Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. General admission is $15 for adults and $6 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. Stockyard spaces are available for $36.

Saturday is reserved for the Championship Features and B-Features for Super Late Models and IMCA Modifieds.

Two-day general admission prices are $25 for adults and $8 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free.

Thursday will be an open practice session for all competing divisions. There will not be grandstand admission.

Pit gates open at noon on both Friday and Saturday. Admission to the pit area is $25 per day.
