RacingWest: Have you had dirt experience before?
Donie Butts: Yes Eric and his dad used to race the Baja 1000 together.
RW: Where is the truck coming from
DB:it is actually a truck owned by Eric Hardin. He raced west and Dodge trucks at Irwindale.
RW: how did this deal come together
DB:they just talked about it and decided to skip homestead and run Baja instead.
RW: have you driven this truck in test sessions or off-roading at all? They tested
DB:and co driver, Elliott in Barstow on Friday and will prerun tomorrow and Wednesday. They loved running the pro truck. People can follow progress on score-international.com
RW: How has Eric prepared for this?
DB:Working out and running
RW: Will the NASCAR experience help you in this and if so what will you use?
DB :Endurance wise will help.. Coordination. Watching for obstacles in desert.
RW: When did this deal come together?
DB:3 weeks ago
RW: Who all is involved?
DB:Harding Motorsports. Justin Holecheck and I have been with Eric since he got started in NASCAR in 1997.

DB:Harding Motorsports

DB:Don't know yet
