Antelope-CALIFORNIA -- Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) will have the 2005 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series National Champion (NDWS) Peyton Sellers behind the wheel of the #16 NAPA AUTO PARTS/NAPA Belts & Hose Chevrolet in 2006 season of the NASCAR Grand National Division, Autozone West Series. Sellers will be a participant in the driver development program between BMR and Richard Childress Racing (RCR).

The 22-year old Sellers is making the move from his hometown of Danville, Virginia to the home of BMR in Northern California. Last season, Sellers visited Victory Lane 15 times in 28 starts while racing in NDWS Division I primarily at South Boston (Va.) Speedway. Sellers earned the track championship and secured the title of NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series National Champion. He is the youngest driver to acquire the national title in the 24-year history of the series.

Bill McAnally Racing and their race partner NAPA Auto Parts look to be a member of an elite group of teams who have won 4 NASCAR Grand National West Series Championships. The series begins its 53rd season in 2006. Some of the alumni of the series include Ray Elder, Jack McCoy, Hershel McGriff, Kevin Harvick and Brendan Gaughan. In 2006, Bill McAnally begins his 16th year in association with NAPA AUTO PARTS.

“NAPA AUTO PARTS is the most trusted source for auto parts in the automotive industry,” said team owner Bill McAnally. “Their success spans more than 70 years. We at BMR have enjoyed much success on the race track because of NAPA AUTO PARTS commitment to providing world class products. NAPA AUTO PARTS, NAPA Belts & Hose, NAPA Filters and our other associate partners provide BMR with the resources to continue to win races year after year. We are excited to make a run for the NASCAR Grand National Division, Autozone West Series Championship in 2006 with our race partners and driver Peyton Sellers.”

The BMR/RCR Driver Development program continues in 2006 with Sellers. Past participants of the program include NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Clint Bowyer and Kerry Earnhardt. Last season’s participants included Sarah Fisher and Allison Duncan. Fisher finished her rookie season 12th in the overall championship point race and took home the 2005 Most Popular Driver Award. Duncan claimed second place honors after driving in the NDWS Division II at Stockton 99 Speedway. Duncan will continue with her development program by racing in the NDWS Division I at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Va.

The 2006 race season begins on January 22, 2006 at Phoenix International Raceway. For more information on BMR, RCR and our race partners, please visit our web site at www.billmcanallyracing.com.####
