MYERS TO DRIVE 2005 “CLASSIC” WINNING CAR AT PIR

CONCORD, North Carolina -- Kevin Harvick Inc. has sold the 2005 Copper World Classic winning Monte Carlo driven by Burney Lamar to Myers Racing. The Myers team immediately began the process of repainting and decaling the car for Andrew Myers to drive in this year’s version of the historic event at Phoenix International Raceway.

“We plan to take our racing program to the next level in 2006 and having a car like this in our fleet is a visible statement to that. Our co-crew-chief, Phil Bonifield has a long relationship with Kevin and we were fortunate to get such a great performing race car,” said Andrew Myers. “It is a proven race winning car and I want to thank Kevin and the guys at KHI for all their help with this said Bonifield. Jamie (Aube, co-crew chief) and I will truly have something special for Andrew to drive.” “It is a real neat machine. It reminds me of some of the cars we won Busch North championships in,” said Aube.

Myers Racing will have their familiar number 44 and the red Toyota of Escondido/Red Line Oil colors in place on this Monte Carlo as they head to the Valley of the Sun for the 29th annual Copper World Classic at Phoenix International Raceway on January 22, 2006.####
