GERHART TABS MYERS TO DRIVE AT DAYTONA

LANCASTER, Pennsylvania -- Bobby Gerhart has had some of the best, young, driving talent in his Daytona and Talladega cars over the past few seasons. Gerhart will now have California native, Andrew Myers in his Monte Carlo for the February 11, ARCA 200 at Daytona International Speedway.

Myers received the NASCAR Grand National West Driver Achievement Award last season after finishing in the top ten in six of the last ten races of the year.

“Andrew is coming off a strong season last year. He tested well with us over the winter and I believe he will run as strong as anyone at Daytona” said Gerhart. “I wanted to thank Bobby for this awesome opportunity said Myers. I will be bringing my West Series co-crew chiefs, Phil Bonifield and Jamie Aube, to help me communicate but it is up to me to race my best at Daytona.”

“Bobbyhas given him a great car and Jamie and I will just try and help Andrew get the most out of it,” said Bonifield.

Myers will run the #7 Gerhart Racing Monte Carlo in the ACRA 200 with supporting sponsorship from Toyota of Escondido and Red Line Oil.####
