SCOTT LYNCH TO PILOT THE NO. 34 CHEVY IN THE NICORETTE 300

MOORESVILLE, North Carolina -- Mooresville, NC... Frank Cicci Racing with Jim Kelly is pleased to announce that former NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series Champion Scott Lynch will pilot the No. 34 Chevy in the NASCAR Busch Nicorette 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Saturday, March 18th.

"We are excited about fielding an experienced young driver who's a proven winner and has extensive knowledge of the chassis setup on these cars," says team owner Frank Cicci. "Our expectations are for good results."

An extremely familiar name in the NASCAR world, Cicci has been involved in the racing industry since 1979 and has fielded such greats as Jimmy Spencer, Randy LaJoie, Jack Sprague, Todd Bodine and Mike McLaughlin, to name just a few.

"I certainly appreciate this opportunity and am looking forward to getting behind the wheel this weekend," says Lynch. "Driving for such a well known team is an honor and I think we can bring home a strong finish this first time out.

A native of Burley, Idaho, Lynch has been competing for the past nine years, running in NASCAR West and selected Craftsman Truck races. "I ran in Atlanta last season in the Truck Series," continues Lynch. "The track is just awesome and really, really fast. It is multi-grooved which means you can pass low, high and in the middle and that makes for spectacular racing. I learned an incredible amount last year and I think that will hold me in good stead this weekend."

A hard charger, Lynch, who is guaranteed a spot in the field based on owner's points, will be ready to show his behind-the-wheel skill the second the Green Flag waves. "I'm ready," says Lynch. "I think this will be a good race."####
