Andrew Myers will return to Irwindale Speedway this coming Saturday night, May 27th for the NASCAR Grand National Division AutoZone West Series King Taco 200.
This will mark Myers first West Series start since his big win in the Casino Arizona 150 at Phoenix International Raceway on April 20.
“I am excited about returning to Irwindale for this event. I have started on the front row last year at Irwindale and have won races there in my late model, said Myers. I’m looking forward to a great Saturday night showdown at my home track.”
“Andrew will race the same car we won the race in Phoenix with, said team manager Phil Bonifield. Andrew is real comfortable with that car and he likes racing at Irwindale. Our whole team is looking forward to this race.”
“This is the closest race to our sponsor, Toyota Escondido and I would love to get a win for all the employees that have been so great to support this race team,” added Myers.
Myers started second and finished seventh the 2005 NASCAR Grand National Division AutoZone West Series race at Irwindale Speedway.
