LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Justin Johnson drove his No. 17 Sunworld Super Late Model to victory lane for the fourth time this season after the 50-lap Super Late Model feature at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday during the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series.

Billy Mitchell of Las Vegas was the fast qualifier and won the Super Late Model Dash for Cash.

Johnson started on the pole after a five-car invert and held the lead position until Thane Alderman made a pass on lap 20. Johnson took the lead back on lap 29 and led the field for the remainder of the race taking his fourth checkered of the season.

Dustin Ash was second followed by Mike Haslam. Bret Edwards and Tom Lovelady were fourth and fifth.

“The competition is really tough out here,” said Johnson. “Spencer Clark helped me through this. I prayed throughout the entire race. This win is for Spencer.”

Friends, family and fellow drivers lined up on the track during opening ceremonies each holding a balloon to pay tribute to Spencer Clark. Clark’s father, T.J. and sister, Candice drove two of Spencer’s race cars around the Bullring. As the cars passed the start-finish line, the balloons were released in Spencer’s honor.
