ERIE, Colorado -- Josh Vadnais, took the checkered flag in the Auto Trader 150, the combination event for the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Midwest and Southwest Series at Colorado National Speedway in Erie, Colo.

Vadnais, out of White Bear Lake, Minn., took the lead on lap 22 from Rip Michels and led the final 128 laps before beating Eric Holmes of the Southwest Series to the line by 0.986 seconds. It was the Midwest Series regular’s first win of his NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division career.

Steve Carlson from the Midwest Series crossed the line in third. He was followed by Mike Gallegos, also of the Midwest Series and Rip Michels of the Southwest Series in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Tim Schendel (MWS), Jim Pettit II (SWS), Jerry Robertson (MWS), M.K. Kanke (SWS) and Dan Fredrickson (MWS) rounded out the top 10.

The next event for the Midwest Series will be July 14 at Raceway Park in Shakopee, Minn., and the next time out for the Southwest Series will be July 2 at Altamont Motorsports Park in Tracy, Calif.
