DAYTONA BEACH, Florida -- Although it’s early in the 2006 season for the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series, Donny Reuvers is already building the kind of momentum that carried him to two track championships and the NDWS Division IV title last year.

The Dundas, Minn., driver scored his fifth win of the season at Raceway Park in Shakopee, Minn., on Sunday. Reuvers, who also competes at Elko (Minn.) Speedway, has nine top-five finishes in nine races this season and leads the NDWS Division IV standings with 498 points.

Moving up five spots to second in the standings this week is Dan Moore of Sun Valley, Calif. Moore, who finished fifth in the Super Late Model class on Saturday night at Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway, has 376 points – with five top-five finishes in six starts this season.

With a record of one win and five top-five finishes at the Music City Motorplex, Willie Allen of Nashville is third in the standings with 370 points. Gaining two positions to fourth in this week’s rankings is Todd Patnode of West Swanzey, N.H., with 340 points. Patnode – who calls Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H., his home track – has registered one win and four top-five finishes in seven starts.

Waterford (Conn.) Speedway driver Dennis Gada of Salem, Conn., is fifth in the Division IV standings this week, also with 340 points. Gada has three top-five and six top-10 finishes in six starts this season.
