UNION, Kentucky -- One of the country's premier dirt track facilities, the King Family's Florence Speedway, is just a few weeks away from it's only mid-week special of the 2006 racing season.
On Tuesday, July 11th, Florence Speedway will play host to a special, unsanctioned Tuesday night Late Model extravaganza in which the winner will take home a whopping $5,000. The popular half-mile oval will use a pill draw format to determine Heat line-ups as well its weekly "passing points" system to determine the starting grid for the 50-lap, $5000 to win A-Main. The purse for this event is as follows:

General Admission for this highly-anticipated show is just $15 with Pit Admission being just $30. Gates are slated to open at 5pm with Hot Laps hitting the track at 6:30pm and Racing at 7:30pm. Also on the card on Tuesday, July 11th will be a regular show for the Open Wheel Modifieds.
