MOORPARK, California --At Pacific Raceways just outside of Seattle in Kent, Wash., on Sunday, Whit Bazemore and Allen Johnson broke their winless streaks in their respective classes at the Schuck’s Auto Supply NHRA Nationals presented by Lucas Oil, while Tony Schumacher brought home his second win in three races.

In Pro Stock, Allen Johnson endured a 34-race winless streak until his dominating run over Tom Martino in the uncharacteristically hot Washington weather.

Martino crept out of the groove and Johnson took advantage of that just past the 330-foot mark going onto his fourth career win and 6.767/204.63 mph run. His win boosted him from 10th to seventh in point standings.

Whit Bazemore was the only Don Schumacher Racing Funny Car driver to go without a win, with the exception of new addition Mike Ashley, this season. He faced off against his Schumacher Racing teammate Ron Capps in the finals.

Bazemore took out Funny Car point leader Capps with a 5.036/309.42 mph to 5.108/293.15 mph, ending his 31-race winless drought.

Tony Schumacher has had a recent surge in Top Fuel action. He has now come within 150 points of the current leader, Doug Kalitta.

His 4.690/321.96 mph win over Dave Grubnic has reassured Schumacher and his Army dragster that there is still a chance in claiming their fourth championship.

NASCAR Nextel Cup Series – Pennsylvania 500 – Pocono Raceway, Pocono, Penn.

Kurt Busch raced his final race as a single man on Sunday. Later this week and in a rare off weekend for Nextel Cup, Busch will marry his fiancée Eva in Virginia before heading to the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard in Indianapolis.

Busch brought this Penske Racing South No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge home in second place behind Denny Hamlin for the second time this year at Pocono. His second-place finish lifted him to 13th in Nextel Cup points.

His teammate Ryan Newman started on the outside front row for the Pennsylvania 500, but wasn’t able to have the same type of finish his teammate had.

While Newman led on two different occasions, he had to settle for an 18th-place finish. Even though it wasn’t the best finish, it did boost him to 18th in point standings.

NASCAR Busch Series – Goody’s 250 – Martinsville Speedway, Martinsville, Va.

Protected with UnderX by Ringers, Jason Leffler led the pack of Ringers supporters to the finish line in the Goody’s 250 at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday. Leffler brought his No. 38 Great Clips Chevrolet home in eighth, while Paul Menard, another UnderX supporter, came home 15th.

Todd Kluever’s DriverX by Ringers racing gloves couldn’t help him out of an incident with Mark McFarland that resulted in a spin and resulted in a 30th-place finish.
