Saturday August 12 will mark the next step in Brett Edwards driving career. The 21 year old Irwindale Speedway Super Late Model rookie of the year candidate will make his Auto Zone Elite Division Southwest Series debut in the Stock Building Supply 100.
In a joint effort by Unlimited Motorsports and Edwards Brothers Racing, Edwards will attempt to qualify the #48 Ford Taurus for his first tour race at his home track. “Making our debut at Irwindale was an easy decision for our race team, to race in front of family and friends will give me an added incentive to do well” stated Edwards. Brett is currently the leading rookie at Irwindale Speedway in the Dodge NASCAR Weekly Racing Series and sits ninth in the weekly standings.
