NEWPORT BEACH, California -- The team travels to beautiful Sonoma Valley and Infineon Raceway in the last weekend of August to compete in the Rolex Series with both the GT cars and the Daytona Prototypes racing together. Additionally, the Indy Racing League will be present with their primary race on Sunday.
Kevin O’Connell and Mike Speakman will be piloting the Taleo Grill-General Environmental Porsche GT-3 car. For this race, Speakman will take all first practices and will qualify the car.
Driver and Team Owner O’Connell commented, “Mike will be responsible for most of the driving duties this weekend until the driver change at some point after the first pit stop. Unfortunately, I will miss Thursday and Friday practice as well as qualifying due to commitments with General Environmental’s acquisition of PCI – Pollution Control Industries. This is a track that the team has done well at in the ASC – American Stock Car road racing series with a track record and multiple poles and wins. Even with all of our challenges this month we should be in good shape.”
