NICK LYNCH SET TO MAKE FIRST RUN ON A SUPER SPEEDWAY

Set to make their first run on a superspeedway, Nick Lynch and the Lynch Mob Motorsports crew head for the 2-mile famed California Speedway in Fontana and the Relocate Here 200, Friday, September 1.

"I'm definitely excited about this upcoming race," says Lynch. "This will be my first time out at California Speedway and I'm really looking forward to once again getting behind the wheel of my RockStar/Mr.Gas Dodge. It has been a few months since we have competed in a NASCAR Grand National Division, AutoZone West Series event and hopefully this will be a good one for us."

Armed with a strong Dodge, a good aero package, a fast Kroyer Racing engine and a top notch crew, Lynch has all the necessary tools to make the Relocate Here 200 a good race. "This is a one day event," continues Lynch. "We get two practice sessions for a total time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. Qualifying is in the late afternoon and then our race takes place in the evening. Everyone on the team is incredibly motivated and determined to meet this new challenge head on."

Running a limited schedule in the AutoZone West Series this season, Lynch brought home a top ten finish at the season opener in Phoenix and earned his first Bud Pole award at Stockton. He competed in August in the Northwest Series at Magic Valley Speedway and took the Checkered in 4th place.

"The race at Fontana is the kickoff event for California Speedway's NASCAR Nextel Cup weekend," explains Lynch. "And quite often you find some of the Cup regulars running. The competition in this year's West Series is stiff. There are a lot of excellent drivers all with one thought in mind - to take the win. Luckily this track offers great passing and from everything I have heard, it is a fun place to race. I know that being smooth is all-important on a superspeedway, as is keeping your focus. Losing concentration can easily cost you the race and we don't have any intention of letting that happen. I know our crew will have our RockStar/Mr.Gas Dodge in fighting trim and we will be ready when the Green Flag waves. All we need is a little luck and things will be good."

Qualifying for the Relocate Here 200 takes place at 5:30 PM and racing gets underway at 8 PM.####
