AERO EXHAUST 200 LINE UP IS SET FOR SUNDAY

It was an exciting night as the NASCAR Northwest Tour Field was set through two qualifying races. B.J. Tidrick and Wilbur Bruce qualified by time for the front row. The rest of the field was set through two 25-lap races. The first race was run without any cautions as Garrett Evans won and will start behind pole sitter Tidrick in the Aero Exhaust 200 race. Bandon Riehl won the second race for the outside row of the Aero Exhaust 200 behind Bruce. The second race started out with Jay Sauls spinning on the backstretch and hitting the tire barrier that protects the track lights. The drivers calmed down and finished out the rest of the race without another caution. The Street Stock Division also ran this evening with Rick Christopherson setting fast time, but not able to pass J.C. Wofford in the 35 lap main event. Casey Merrill and Chet Beaman Jr. tangled as Beaman tried to pass on the outside and both went off the track in turn three. In the Late Model Challenge Series Brandon Riehl won the Sea Galley Crab Legs 100. The 100-lap race started out a little shaky as the green flag was waved and cars began to check up causing an accident just before the start/finish line resulting in Erick Hargraves finishing the night with a tore up racecar.
