DODD TO OSS IN ASA SPEED TRUCK

Scott Dodd in his #9 Chevy Truck will be competing this weekend at Orange Show Speedway. Dodd who fell from second to third by two points is hoping to regain his position from former Speed Truck Champion Lee Hatch and try and gain some ground on current leader and past Champion Darren Young. Dodd has had 5 top five’s and 7 top ten’s out of the 8 races this season and is looking for his first win of the season.

Hatch and Young who have both been instrumental in mentoring Dodd for the past two years and are great competitors and Dodd feels honored to be among them in the points chase. When we first started Hatch would get on the radio and talk Scott through the preferred line on the track. He has always been there if we had a question or needed help. Young is able to talk to Scott and give him that advice a young driver needs to help him on and off the track.

The race will be televised on VERSUS (formerly Outdoor Lifetime Network). Dodd is also looking forward to his trip to North Carolina for the filming of the reality show “Racin for a Livin”, which Dodd will be a contestant in the race off for the ride in a NASCAR Busch car for seven races in the 2007 season.
