In the 12th and final race of the 2006 NASCAR Grand National Division, AutoZone West Series season, Andrew Myers will make his track debut at Altamont Motorsports Park for the Altamont 200 on Sunday, Oct. 15. Myers enters the last race with two victories this season and is looking to drive his No. 44 Toyota Escondido/Red Line Synthetic Oil Chevrolet to another top finish.
"The Myers Racing team is really excited to race at Altamont this weekend," said Myers. "Although it's our first time at the track, we are confident with our chances and we're looking to end the season with a strong run at the half-mile oval."
"For the two years that the team has been together, we've always been able to quickly adapt to new tracks and finish strong," said Phil Bonifield, team manager. "We expect to do the same this weekend."
The Altamont 200 starts at 5 p.m. PST.
