The LA street race was the most exciting the Roger Kraus has ever watched. The level of the competition was very high, it was a shame that there was so much carnage.
Although the team placed 8th we felt as we actually had a shot at this one, Brandon Kraus, driver of the No. 42 NASCAR Southwest Series car, was in fourth and moving up when on lap 83 he was hit by another car that over-cooked it going into the turn. This incident made the car a handful as it bent the spindle and the tie rod.
That is life in racing. We will once again try our hands on the oval but not till Madera. Hopefully we can figure out how to go fast and turn left without a right turn in between.![]()
