JOE BEAN RIDES AGAIN WITH FOOD4LESS & CITY OF HOPE

Joe Bean is ready and set to conquer the Irwindale Speedway half mile track this Saturday night August 19, 2000. "We are going with the new and old for this weekends race." said Joe. "We have our former crew chief Larry Lally coming back to the team and I am confident that we can put together a top five run for our sponsors and fans." " Victor Reed is still with us as car chief along with all the familiar faces from last year." Changing tires will be Victor Reed and Larry Lally. Tire carriers are Mark Lally and Sam Arciero. Jackman is Motaboy Larry Nava. Gas man is Dennis Madddog Simonian, with the overflow man, Bob Kidwell. John Wootton is the tireman/signman. The eye in the sky is Spotter Joe Dehorty. George Oganesian is the team hauler driver. New to the team this are Don Tuch, Brian Taylor and Eric Redding. Desiree Nava handles the scoring of the car during the race.

"This team has been through a streak of bad luck that has a lot of people feeling sorry for us." said Joe. " But don't worry about us this weekend. We are running the same car that we finished 4th with last year and ran 3rd at Mesa Marin. Its a car that we picked up from Jack Roush. It was driven one time by Johnny Benson at Rockingham and is my favorite car out of the four that we run in the series."

This weekend, look for the City of Hope hospitality section above the ticket office in between turns three and four and you will see the many sponsors that have made this years Food 4 Less, Race for Hope program a success. Performance Motorsports would like to thank Food 4 Less, City of Hope, Coca Cola, Nabisco, Cacique Cheese, Aquafina Water, Tony's Pizza and Rudolph Foods and Jan's Towing for all their help and support this year. The # 77 Food 4 Less Speedtruck also races on Saturday night at El Cajon Raceway. Tony Brunner has promised the sponsors and fans a top ten run that will keep his Dodge Dakota up in the top ten in points. " Please stop by after the races and say hi." said Tony. " We have a lot of fans down in the San Diego area, because that is where I live. We have some giveaways, so make sure that you stop in and see us."####
