The Spencer Clark Driven Foundation (1) is holding its First Annual Spencer Clark Golf Tournament to raise money for the Foundation’s activities. The Foundation has invited many NASCAR team members, sponsors and other members of the racing community to participate in the First Annual Spencer Clark Golf Tournament. The golf tournament is being held the week of the NASCAR race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The Foundation was established in Spencer Clark’s memory and is dedicated to helping young drivers develop their driving and automotive skills. The Foundation will be identifying young drivers who have the potential to race at the highest levels of the sport but who do not have the wherewithal, both financially and technically to continue the development of their skills and will provide these drivers with the equipment, training and other tools they need to develop their skills and achieve their goals.
As part of the Golf Tournament, the Foundation is seeking donations to be awarded as tournament prizes and for a silent auction to be held during the Tournaments lunch. All donors will be provided with recognition in Tournament marketing materials and signage at the Tournament and Silent Auction along with a letter acknowledging their tax deductible gift (1).
