Ross Thompson driver of the #43 Roomstore Furniture and Accecsories, Nitrotech Freeze Tempering, Chevrolet Monte Carlo will be making the long trek to Chicago Motor Speedway this weekend. Thompson hopes to make a big splash in the windy city in his first Remax Challenge Series race.
Coming off of a minor engine failure in Irwindale, California the team took a month off to prepare the car and reorganize for the best possible finish. The team did not make the trip to New Mexico and Colorado for back to back races electing instead to race Chicago giving them plenty of time to prepare the car. This also gave the team to give the car a brand new look. Changing from the traditional white paint scheme to a new black and silver look.
