Mira Loma, CA -- Scott Dodd, driver of the #25 NASCAR Super Late Model (SLM) Chevy Monte Carlo was a featured driver on Versus last year in the ASA Speed Trucks Series, along with fierce competitors Darren Young, Lee Hatch, Jim Putnam and Andy Allen. This year Dodd is competing in the extremely competitive super late models at Irwindale Speedway where several of their races will be televised on Versus.
The April 7th race is the first SLM race to be recorded to be televised on May 5th.
Dodd’s debut in the SLM’s was on March 24th where he came home a very respectable 7th after starting 11th and having to fall back to 15th before he was able to get clear and start moving forward in the 29 car field. Once clear he moved through the pack of cars pretty quickly and was catching the leaders, but ran out of laps in 50 lap race.
