On The ARCA RE/MAX Series: “I’m glad for the ARCA RE/MAX Series. It’s a great stomping ground for teams and drivers who want to work their way into NASCAR, just as we’re doing. Next year will be a big year for Transnet Racing, so it’s nice to know that some of the tracks we’re tackling in the ARCA sanction will pay off in the future.”
On The Importance Of Kansas: “Kansas is very crucial to us. We want to unload with a setup that we’re comfortable with and can adjust as we see fit. We want to be on top of our game all weekend by participating in practice, qualifying well and finishing the race. This race is going to help with our NASCAR approval this year, so it’s an extra incentive for us to do well.”
On The Transition From Open-Wheel To Stock Cars: “It hasn’t been easy, but nothing is in racing. I’m glad that Transnet Racing has set some goals for ourselves in the stock car industry and I know that we will meet them all in time. This is the place to be and we’re just excited to be a part of it.”
On His ’07 Racing Schedule: “We’re going to spend time dabbling in the ARCA RE/MAX Series in addition to several events in the NASCAR Busch Series. We’re fortunate enough to have an ARCA car that we can compete with at races to gain our team experience. This is a learning year for us, so we’re going to try and race as much as our schedule fits.”
