O'CONNELL & SPEAKMAN RUN LAGUNA SECA IN U.S. SPORTS CAR INVITATIONAL

ORANGE COUNTY, California -- O'Connell Racing (OConnellRacing.com), a southern California based Grand American Rolex Series and NASCAR road racing team announced today that the team will travel to the famed Laguna Seca road course for the U.S. Sports Car Invitational over the weekend. Drivers Kevin O'Connell and Michael Speakman will co-drive for the race. Again for 2007 and since the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Direct TV will join OCR with its California distributor Satellite Superstores and executives from long time partner General Environmental Management, Inc. will be present in the pits with the team during the race. Kevin O'Connell commented, "Direct TV is a very recognizable brand and we are pleased that they will be with us again at Laguna. Our steadfast partners from GEM will be there too and we continue to support their focus and strategic plan regarding current environmental “green” initiatives.

The Laguna Seca race will be a split race with the GT cars running a separate race from the Daytona Protoypes on Saturday and the race will be broadcast on SPEED.
