DUNCAN WINS NAPA 150

ERIE, Colorado -- Bakersfield’s Mike Duncan took the lead from Brian Ickler on lap 87 and drove his Lucas Oil Chevrolet to the win Saturday night, during the NAPA 150 NASCAR Grand National West race at Colorado National Speedway. Tommy Powers won his first career Sportsman main event at CNS during the Suss.net Sportsman feature. In the Winged Sprint car main, Nick Haygood dominated for the win. Jared Wall pushed his Wally Built Motors Camero to the win in the Aamco Transmission Figure 8 feature, stopping Al Duran’s win streak.

On lap 5, Powers took over the lead and Stan Griffin was fifth on lap 7. John Baker was extremely loose and started falling back. Davey McCray broke on lap 10 sending him down the backstretch wall.
