
Although the rain fell hard for most of the day and night the action was defiantly not washed up. Once again Stinger 8's held the crowd captive with the very best in figure eight entertainment. Jeff Repin took command and negotiated the intersection magnificently while Sean Peters and Cody Karoshes finished second and third respectively. Current points leader Ben "The Wizard" Chandler finished fifth behind "Crashing" Kenny Bates.
The NASCAR All American Series Les Schwab Tires Bombers were the feature for the night in a big field of very close cars. An early lap incident sent Jill Lang to the rear of the field on the restart and she raced her way into a fine finish. Meanwhile Lex Johnson came from all the way in the back to the front to win the main. He put on a clinic on how to drive the tough 3/8's oval in the wet weather. Brian Cottrell finished second, as Lane Sundholm spun on the next to last lap and current points leader Travis Blackwood ended up driving off the track in turn three losing several positions.
Super Figure Eights put on a wild show with John Zaretzke starting on the pole. He had a battle royal with "The Cowboy" John Carlson as Ryan Gunderson took advantage of their battle to seize the lead.
Crash Cars! Had loads of fun as this week "Mighty Mouse" avoided getting tangled up with "The Crusher". A new entry "Dizzy Jr." ran third and "The Barber" ran fourth. Legends ran in a short field with Mike Gardner leading flag to flag. The Semi Pro winner was "Diamond" Doug Anderson.![]()
