ERIC RICHARDSON AND THE #20 NAPA BELTS & HOSE FOURTH AT THE NAPA 150

ANTELOPE, California -- Rookie Eric Richardson and the #20 NAPA Belts and Hose team from Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) finish fourth in the NAPA “150” presented by NAPA Belts & Hose. The NASCAR Grand National Division West Series event was the first visit to Colorado National Speedway since 2004 where the #20 entry from BMR also took home fourth place honors but with driver Kerry Earnhardt.

“The #20 NAPA Belts & Hose Chevrolet was tight until about halfway thru the race,” said Richardson. “Then the tires grew and the car was a rocket.”

“It was cool to be able to drive the #20 NAPA Belts and Hose Chevrolet with so many folks from NAPA and NAPA Belts & Hose cheering us on in turn two,” said Richardson. “We really appreciate having them with us as our race partners for this event.” This finish moves Richardson up to the top-ten in the chase for the series championship.”

Over 600 NAPA AUTO PARTS and NAPA Belts & Hose customers, store owners and employees came out to support the teams from BMR in the NAPA “150”. The weekend began with a “Sneak Peak” event at Gates Rubber Headquarters in downtown Denver, the parent company of NAPA Belts & Hose. Under sunny skies, fans and employees were able to take a tour of the BMR race car haulers and meet the drivers. The team from BMR next made a stop at the NAPA Denver Distribution Center where the drivers met with NAPA customers and gave away race tickets and merchandise courtesy of NAPA AUTO PARTS.

The NAPA 150 will be rebroadcast with an enhanced replay on SPEED Channel. Check your local listings for dates and times. The next race event for the #20 team from BMR will take them to the road course at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California on June 23rd.
