SUISUN CITY, California -- Veteran road course driver, Tom Hubert, will come together with Tony Oddo to field the T.O.E Motorsports No. 25 Sunsweet Growers Ford for the Blue Lizard Sunscreen 200 presented by Supercuts at Infineon Raceway.
Sunsweet Growers Inc., who is celebrating their 90th anniversary, can expect an exciting day of racing in the beautiful wine country of Sonoma. Sunsweet Growers has recently introduced Sunsweet Ones – Individually Wrapped Prunes, and is very excited to have their name on the No.25 T.O.E Motorsports Ford.
This is T.O.E Motorsports first event of the 2007 NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series. With an impressive ninth place finish at the 2006 Blue Lizard Sunscreen 200, driver, owner, and team are looking forward to getting back in the grove with another great finish.
“I felt very comfortable during our testing session,” says Hubert. “Being able to test has helped us out greatly. I feel we have a car that will run top five throughout the day, and produce a strong finish.”
The joining of T.O.E Motorsports and Tom Hubert creates years of experience at Infineon Raceway that is second to none. Hubert has vast experience in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series during his numerous road course starts at both Infineon Raceway and Watkins Glen International Speedway. Oddo, whose engine shop is just 30 miles east of the track, has been building motors used at Infineon Raceway for twenty-five years.
T.O.E Racing is fielding two cars in the “Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen 200”; Kenny Shepherd will be piloting the No. 95 Save Mart/Mountain Due/Oberto Beef Jerky Chevrolet. Information about Tony Oddo, T.O.E Performance, or T.O.E Motorsports can be found at www.toeperf.com
