ANTELOPE, California -- Rookie Eric Richardson, driver of the #20 Green Frog Roasting Company.com Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS for Bill McAnally Racing will be making right and left turns on the 1.99-mile road course of Infineon Raceway. The NASCAR Grand National Division West Series will kick off a weekend of NASCAR racing at Infineon with the Blue Lizard Suncream 200 on Saturday June 23rd. Richardson is currently 10th in the chase for the series championship and is closing in on the top-five.
“We had a blast testing at Infineon,” said Richardson. “I’ve never raced a road course. This will be another new challenge for me this year. I know I’ve had a lot to learn but with each race, I feel we just keep getting better and better with these heavy West Series cars. The #20 team from BMR has been working hard and have prepared a great car for the race. My confidence is high going into this race, and we’re anxious to get our first win for BMR.”
Blue Lizard Australian Suncream 200, NASCAR Grand National Division West Series Race will be on Saturday, June 23rd. The green flag will drop at 2 pm PT and be broadcast live on HDNET. An enhanced replay of the race will air on SPEED Channel. Check your local listings.
