ALEX HAASE READY FOR INFINEON

CONCORD, North Carolina -- Alex Haase driver of the #88 KBM Motorway-Autogroup to compete for the first time in the Blue Lizard Suncream 200 presented by Supercuts at Infineon Raceway this Saturday.

This will be the first time the 17 year-old Haase runs one of North America's most complete and versatile racetracks. Alex has been testing at several other road courses on the West coast in preparation for this challenging track. Alex has also had the unique opportunity to attend Bondurant racing school with one of his team owners, Kyle Busch.

“When you have the opportunity to learn at a facility like Bondurant it’s great, but to also be on the track with Kyle makes it that much better.” Stated Haase. “When we get done on the track it’s great because we can sit down and talk about racing and share our thoughts on driving road courses.”

Haase will be under the watchful eye of Kyle this weekend as the NEXTEL NASCAR Cup series is also racing Infineon on Sunday. “I really look forward to working with Alex. We did the same thing earlier this year in Phoenix.” Stated Busch. “It’s important to be involved with a guy you are helping out.” “I enjoy the time I get to come out and watch Alex pilot the #88.”

Haase, who is currently 8th in the points has finished all 6 races in the West series this year with 3 top 10 finishes.

The Blue Lizard Suncream 200 can be seen on HDnet at 2:00pm Saturday, June 23rd. Speed TV will rebroadcast at a later date.####
