ASA NORTHWEST TOUR SET TO MAKE HISTORY AT STATELINE SPEEDWAY

YAKIMA, Washington -- The ASA Aero Exhaust Northwest Tour Access Road Solutions 150 at Stateline Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho is ready for take #2. Originally scheduled to happen on June 9 when bad weather forced the postponement of the first time in 20-years that the Northwest Tour was to appear at the Inland Northwest’s fastest ¼-mile oval. Saturday night June 23, 2007 the weather is set to cooperate and the premier stock car racers will be ready to race into a new era.

Mixtures of local and northwest touring drivers are scheduled to circumvent the track 150 times in the Access Road Solutions main event. Locals are headlined by Kevin Richards (Newman Lake, WA) a many time area winner. Other track regulars expected to bring their expertise to the big dance are Dan Garber (Spokane Valley, WA), Tony Berry (Spokane, WA), Kevin Moland (Spokane, WA), Jeff Bird (Hayden, ID) and tour regular Matt Hall (Spokane, WA).

These outstanding locals will be pitted against some northwest stock car legends such as: 4-time Northwest Tour Champion Garrett Evans (E. Wenatchee, WA) and former champion Kelly Tanner. Other ASANWT regulars vying to race themselves into the legend category that are expected: Brandon Riehl (Boring, OR), current tour point leader Jay Sauls (Puyallup, WA) and BJ Tidrick (Yakima, WA) to name a few.

The 2007 season highlight at Stateline Speedway will include the second annual Pro-4 Nationals featuring a combination of local Northwest Late Model 4’s, the Foreign Stock Car Racing Association and drivers representing Northwest Pro-4 Alliance. 25-plus are drivers expected to compete in their respective main. In addition the fastest cars in the Inland Northwest are schedule to compete. Inland Northwest Winged Sprint drivers will run race number three at Stateline Speedway with cars from Eastern Washington.
