A full moon rose on Les Schwab Tires Mid Season Championship Night as six classes of cars ran for top three trophies in all mains. Shane Harding won his first main event of 2007 in the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Speedway Chevrolet Super Stock Division. A late caution and lap cars between Harding and second place Roger Habich made for a sweet, two lap run to victory stage.
In the Les Schwab Tires Bomber main event Travis Blackwood won with a spectacular last lap pass of Bill Mann. The Mini Stocks ran late and ran fast. Defending Champion Mark Weedin and points leader coming into the night, had engine troubles that relegated him to a car that he evidently purchased between the heat races and main event. Trouble continued for him in the main as he finished well back. Meanwhile, Bob Edwards hung on tight as Chuck Richard put tons of pressure on him but was unable to pass. Edwards margin of victory was less than a fender.
Crash Cars! Featured veteran Josh "Crusher" Beckel took the honors. The Stinger Eights ran a full main with current points leader Mike Middelton overtaking the "Wizard" Ben Chandler for the win. Super Figure eights featured a battle up front between Sean Peters and "Bobblehead" Bill Wade. Wade eventually passed Peters and drove to the win.
