David Minegar of Boise, Idaho, the 2006 ESI Rocky Mountain Challenge Series champion continued his winning ways and vaulted back into the season point lead after winning is second race of the season. Minegar earned his 12th career Sharp Powder Coating Fast Time Award and would start the 75-lap feature in the 20th position. He worked his was through the field and into the lead by lap 60 and held off a determined John Newhouse.
