ROSEVILLE, California - It was USG night at the All American Speedway and in the featured main event, the AT&T Yellowpages.com 50 for the Modifieds, Scott Winters was your winner.
The invert put Les Friend on the pole for the start. Friend was strong early and led the first six. Eddie Laws started third and took the lead on lap seven. Winters started seventh and quickly worked his way to second on lap eight. Laws battled Winters tough for the next nine until Winters got him on lap seventeen. As we’ve seen in previous races, once Winters gets to the point, he slams the door shut on the rest of the field. He led nineteen laps on his way the checkers for his fourth win in a row and his seventh on the season.
Andy Field, who gets stronger and stronger each week finished second. Richard Poppert Jr. was impressive with a third place finish. Jeremy Grasty crossed fourth with Jason Philpot completing the top five.

In qualifying, Rich Lindgren snagged fast time with a circuit of 14.017/ 85.609mph, Jay Linstroth was second at 14.061/ 85.342mph with Winters third at 14.076/ 85.251mph.
Winters won the four car trophy dash over Field, Linstroth, and Lindgren.
The Modifieds return to the Speedway this Saturday night!
In Bomber division qualifying, Jason Poppert turned in his best effort of the season to grab fast time with a turn of 16.156/ 74.275mph. Mile Kelly was second at 16.190/ 74.119mph and Eric Bocksberger was third at 16.239/ 73.895mph.
In Heat Race One, it was Aaron Gardiner over Mighty Mike Dickson, Randy Owens, Troy Whitlow, and Phillip Gibber.
In Heat Race Two, Harry Lambert got his first win of the season over Keith Hopkinson Jr., Mike Kelley, Jeff Thomason, and Austin Self.
Erick Bocksberger won the Bomber trophy dash over Poppert, Michael Sherrill Jr., and Mike Kelly.
In the thirty-five lap A Main*, Eric Bocksberger beat second place Richard Anable by fractions to the line for the win. Todd Clapham was third with Mike Kelly fourth and Mike Dickson fifth.

9th Mickey Owens
10th Jeff Thomason
*Mike Sherrill, going for his fourth win in a row, was disqualified for an exhaust infraction.

In Mini Stock action, Jason Romero once again nailed down fast time with a lap of 15.414/ 77.851mph. Earl Lee was second with his best qualifying effort 15.908/ 75.433mph with Terry Shannon third 15.923/ 75.362mph.
Earlier in the day, Romero won the trophy dash over Lee and Shannon.
In the thirty-five lap A Main, Matt Beardsley was dominant and crossed the stripe almost nine seconds in front of second place Jason Romero. Beardsley, Romero and Dale Bulmer were the only three cars to finish on the lead lap. However, in post race inspection Beardsley’s and Bulmer’s cars were found to have a cylinder compression rating too high and were disqualified, giving the win to Romero. Romero is still unbeaten and the win gives him six in a row this season.
Finishing second was Terry Shannon (one lap down), Earl Lee was third, Bill Horvath was fourth, with Bud Anderson fifth.

In the WSRA Baby Grand Division, Michael Ray grabbed fast time with a lap of 14.911/ 80.477mph. Justin Henry was second at 14.946/ 80.288mph with Justin Wall third at 15.098/ 79.480mph.
Henry won the Baby Grand trophy dash over Ray and Justin Wall.
In the fifteen lap A Main, Michael Sandoval started from the pole and led the first three. Jake Gomes took the lead on lap four and never looked back. Gomes brought home the win. Henry crossed second, Michael Sandoval was third, Ray finished fourth, with Cole Farrow rounding out the top five.
In WSRA Minicup action, Dylan Hutchison topped the speed charts in qualifying with a turn of 16.578/ 72.384mph. Dylan is the grandson of famed racing engine builder Rex Hutchison. Josh Gomes was second at 16.716/ 71.787mph with Jarrett Kelly third at 16.896/ 71.022mph.
Tyler Thomas won the Minicup qualifier. Charlotte Wood was second, Shane Lawrence was third, Tyler Johnson was fourth and Robbie Roy came home fifth.
In qualifying, Hutchison had fast time with a lap of 16.578/ 72.384mph. Gomes was second at 16.716/71.787mph with Kelly third at 16.896/71.022mph.
Hutchison proved he had the car to beat by winning the twenty-five lap A Main over Gomes (2nd), Thomas (3rd), John Bowman (4th), and Sam Unterbach (5th).
