LAS VEGAS – Two-time NASCAR Busch Series champion Randy LaJoie will compete in an ASA Speed Truck at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Wednesday, Aug. 8. LaJoie, who won NASCAR Busch Series titles in 1996 and 1997, also has competed in the NASCAR Nextel Cup and Craftsman Truck Series.
Drag-racing fans will not want to miss 14-time NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series Funny Car champion John Force, who will sign autographs at the Bullring from 6-7 p.m.
This special Wednesday evening stock car racing show – dubbed “Wild Wednesday” – will feature NASCAR-sanctioned Super Late Models, American Speed Association (ASA) Speed Trucks, Thunder Roadsters and Legends Cars.
Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. General admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and military personnel with ID and $5 for children ages 6-12. Children five and under are free. A Family Four Pack may be purchased for $26.
The Bullring concession stand offers family-friendly $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 beer every race night.
